I go to UTI and today we had dyno day, My 00 svt contour pulled 150 hp and 138 tq, I dunno why it was so weak but I was really dissapointed, most guys dyno round 170 or so right? considering that i should lose 18% throu drive train. I really think this could be the beginning to a long story starting with a new clutch and nitrous, but we'll see

how about a UIM/LIM and throttle body cleaning, some fuel injector cleaning, and a PCM reset. maybe change all oils as well. id get it all sorted out first, especially before going to a shot to naaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwws

Is that your actual data or SAE corrected data? Have you done any exhaust mods?

Have you had any problems with the IMRC not opening? Could be something to look at as it would cause similar power loss.

sounds like roger r's car (the striped brick). he pulled like 155 hp and 138 tq. people believe its because he babies the car so much that its clogged with carbon build up. i think him running 6.5 quarts of oil also has to do something with it. also, could be your cats beginning to go bad.

What type of wheels are you running? I know a local here that ran heavy arse 17 inch MOMO's and he pulled 150 hp on the dyno. Just a thought if you have aftermarket rims and they weigh more than the stock 20 something lbs.
