I am going to get the redesigned 2003 oil pan for my tour and looking to the future (turbo) and thought that it would be a good idea to put a turbo oil drain line bung in the new one before installing it. Then when I get done with my turbo system it will already be there.

So, the question is where is a good place the bung. I got some ideas from a couple books I have but I am not familiar with the inside of the 2.5 oil pan yet.

Any ideas or info would be of help.

Also if anybody has an extra Y pipe laying around they are willing to part with for shipping charges please email me or PM it for a side project (the poor manā??s turbo project) and if everything goes well I promise to share all info and picture with the group.

Yeah, I can get a picture of it. Or just make sure it's as high up as possible on the drivers side front of the pan.
