What bulbs will work with the stock fixture? I have the 55w bulbs in now and they have warped my lenses some but no biggy. I have the Silver Star headlights and the driving lights arent as bright which detracts from the overall look at night. I heard the PIAA 910's will fit and are very bright but I cant justify spending $250 for a pair of driving lights.

With that said, are their any other replacment bulbs that will compare with my 75w headlights or will I just have to buy the PIAA lights?

I'm not sure about replacements for the stock fixtures. Although I'm with you, I didn't want to spend a fortune on some driving lights after I paid a small fortune for my silverstars. So I came across some driving lights while at pepboys, called Diamond Blues, really nice. They have an aluminum housing w/ a glass lens. The bulbs are an H3, I know because I just had to replace one after I dropped it. But anyways, they are a really nice bright white and compliment the silverstars. The lens is clear w/ a slight bluish tint, but don't let that fool you into thinking they shine blue, they are whiter and brigter than the sun! Until I had mine aimed properly, I was being flashed by oncoming drivers all the time. And they are bright enough to drive w/o the headlights on. I use mine as DRL's and have them wired to the ignition so they come on w/ the car. They cost around $70, which IMO isn't all that bad for the product you get and how it performs.
But this is all just my opinion.
here's a pic.

Nope. I have had mine in for about a year and they work fine I even put the 80/100w HID Bulbs in my fog and they look awesome especially now since I put in aftermarket lenses.

They arent real HID bulbs. You can get them from Ebay. The 9005's will give a bluish tint to the lights, but not really, really blue. And as far as hitting the ground, they would be the best choice for xenon bulbs. Check Ebay for the best prices on Hypers.
