Does anyone know if the clear sidemarkers that you can get for the Cougar will fit on the Tribute?? Very curious. Thanks John jcaimhigher@ixpres.com

I know those side markers are used widely on Fords US and Euro cars. Order some from the local dealer and try. Their is a guy on the Cougar boards that sells different colored ones for $30.

http://mortis.newcougar.org/sidemarkers/he's got a wide array of colors to choose from. They come with orange bulbs. very easy to install (on a Cougar anyway...)

are the cougar sidemarkers flush with the outside of the body? i dont think they lay on the body rather they are inset and are flush with the body. arent they?

The Cougar has a stamped hole that is recessed in the body a little bit.

yep, IIRC the body has the oval shape cut into it, so the sidemarker sits inside that oval.
So any car you'd want to put them on, I would think you'd have to do some body modification.

Thanks for the info Todd. I saw it on the NECO site but am skeptical because of the bad info heard here about Mortis. I've never had a problem with him but I need to make sure I can send em back if they're a no go.

Like everyone has posted, that's what the Tribute looks like and if I had a good picture of the back of the Cougar marker I'd know if it would fit. My oval is fairly large; the cutout that is.
I think they'll fit.

how's this? dimensions are approximately 3.75 inches long and just under 1.5 inches at its widest point.
