OP Lehinger CEG\'er L Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 70 Ft Wayne IN	Hopped into my 98 svt to drive to work today... the high beam light started flashing. I tried the high beams, they did not come on. Car has the DRL relay. I will be checking fuses tonight... any other ideas to check on? THX! Lee 98 Black SVT

gdub520_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er G Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 2,061 antelope valley, soCal	the bulbs maybe??? never heard of that before....i guess its good to know tho that if somethings wrong with the highbeams the indicator will flash 99 expedition eddie bauer, 5.4 v8, k&n drop-in, 3" magnaflow catback and gas mileage that makes the contour look like a hybrid

DanCanuck_dup1 CEG\'er D Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 279 Vancouver, Canada	yes, more than likely the bulb is toast....just changed one of mine on Weds....one of those expensive HID lights.. easy to change, takes 5 minutes to loosen the 3 screws on the headlamp assembly 2000 Black SVT #2639/2760; w/18 OZ Superleggera's, Pirelli Pzero Nero. MSDS Headers,Quaife LSD, CF DF, Borla,,chipped,DMD,Baer Track rotors. Lowered/HR and Koni's; HPP & OMP 3L Valves w/ P&P Heads (thanks Kinger!)

I lucked out, my bright light indicator was flashing, but it was just a loose plug on the bulb. Green 96 mystique gs 4cyl mtx 16.9 in the 1/4 mile @102500 miles 95SE in Midnight Red MTX MSDS headers and y-pipe SVT exhaust SVT UIM Optimized se TB. Full pre 98 SVT body kit 15.741 @ 87.73mph :)
