i am probably going to be flamed on this, but, i cannot see this happening. i am a scale modeler and i know the costs involved in bringing a new kit to the market. a new tooling will run anywhere from $500,000 to $750,000 to complete. that may be more for diecast. then there is the added cost of licensing. we are a niche group. i am not sure the numbers are there to justify the costs involved. go to the exact detail replica website and see how many versions of each car there is. plastic kits are no different, they all pretty much have at least 2 versions of the same basic tooling. Mark stated earlier that they could do several differant versions ( eo, e1, mirko, ppg, colors, etc.). would they ALL sell? say they sell for $80-100.00, in all honesty how many would you REALLY buy? lets face it detail costs money, there is a lot of r & d involved. are the numbers there to make it profitable for exact detail replicas? please don't get me wrong i would try to be the first in line to grab one, i am just being a realist here.
