I wrote before about the eng code PO171 lean running bank 1 i checked everything that was sujested to me and have a question. I saw that there was 3 clips missing from my air-filter houesing, and it doesn't lock down but only in one coner can this make the MAS read wrong? and where can i get the clips i check three dealers here and they said they can't get them any help would be great thanks confused confused confused

No if anything it would just let dirt into the engine through the crack between the filter and the MAF.
Lean running could be an air leak in the intake manifold. Check those two pipe going into the top of the intake manifold, behind the TB and see if anything is crackon the elbows, hoses or whatever they connect two. I had this happen to me and I found a broken elbow letting in air on the bank 1 side.

I found the clamps loose from the air filter to the intake and got a better ride after tightening them. Check those.

Thanks for the help but i also need the clips that hold down the cover for the air-filter i lost three of them some how does anyone know where i can get them ? the deals here keep teling me they can get them i need help lol eek eek eek

Be creative! There's a whole host of ways to draw those pieces together while you're waiting for the clamps to come in. Zip-ties, twist ties, duct tape, screw&wingnut, etc. All are very cheap and will probably work as well as the original parts.
