can you adjust the idle? mine is at around 500, how do you raise it to 750? reason being is that i bought a pro-flow maf and i have it running at .8 volts and the idle is still somewhat erratic and stalls sometimes...pro-flow says to raise the idle speed at the throttle plate, but i don't know how to do it...i really don't want to put my old maf back on and lose like $450.00 in the maf and optimizer...thanks in advance (i did do a search)

Idle is controlled by the PCM. Sounds like they want you to crack the throttle plate slightly(?) - bad idea. At idle, the O2 volts should oscillate around .45. If it isn't, the PCM will keep trying to lean out the mixture to get it to do that.
I have the S-AFC so I can't really help with setting the Pro Flow. I know I had to set my 1000 RPM point to +6% to keep the engine from stalling, but only when the RPMs were dropping to idle. Never had a problem sitting at idle once it got there.

i seem to be fine at idle but when i slow down or come to a stop, the idle drops to 100-200 and goes back and forth and almost stalls. pro flow says at idle the maf should be between .7 and .9. i currently have it at around .8. my idle was always at around 500, ever since i bought it new...i obviously can't go to ford to fix it and i don't want to really "throw away" the mod....i need help...

A friend of mine had a similiar problem on his 2k Maxima SE. when he disengaged the clutch, the idle would undershoot to 200-300 RPM's, sometimes it would die, sometimes not. It would usually find itself around 500 RPM, the idle when he bought it was at 750 RPM. A simple computer reprogramming solved his problem.
Have you put the OEM MAF back on to see if it restores your idle? If you do and the idle problem continues, then get to the dealer and have him fix it. If the idle problem ges away with the OEM MAF, . . well don't know if I can offer anything.
Good Lcuk, david

Sounds like a blocked PCV valve
Take a look at my web site below. Huge section on idle problems in the information pages
