OP 2112 CEG\'er 2 Joined: May 2001 Posts: 69 Springfield, VA	I have a 98 EO SVT and need to know how to get the slop out of the shifter cables. I know there are 2 orange button type connectors on the shift linkage at the tranny end. Has anyone been able to tighten up the cables. 98 EO #587 Currently Dirt Jumping

huey3211 CEG\'er H Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 96 Baton rouge la	i have broken 3 cables (that sucks)...i think if u push the button you can adujust it........i am too to think right now. 98 SVT, clutch masters flywheel, spec stage2 clutch, quaife ,y pipe. and only MOBIL-1 oil. gansta a$$ 2000 Honda Civic on dope("nnnaaawwwzz"). ricers suck KING OF ROAD RAGE i need a center console and cup holder!!!!!1

Drumbo_dup1 CEG\'er D Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 365	If frequently having to fight with the shifter to get into 1st and Rev is the type of "slop" you're talking about, I'm in need of a solution for my 98 EO, too. Been a problem since I bought the car @17K and now seems to be slowly getting worse.

I have noticed that it quickly got worse with the weather...maybe that has something to do with it?
