While looking around the UK version of AutoTrader, I found this picture of a Mondeo that looks almost like my car(same color, wheels, etc). Notice the Focus 16" rims, they must've been available on Mondeos from the factory. One big difference, though. My car used to sit that high, but thanks to BAT's Euro kit, it is much lower.

Gotta love those headlamp washers!

I believe the the focus 16" wheels that we have been seeing are originally from our family tree in the first place. 2nd generation Mercury Mystiques that is.

They had a machined finish on the Mystique but were changed to a painted silver finish for the focus. Then the was an "optional" finish for the focus that basically returned to the original machined variety the only difference being the center cap. I remember seeing them on the Mystique and thinking they were sharp. And then thinking I should keep and eye out at the salvage yards for wrecked Mystiques that could donate their wheels for me to use for a set of snow tires. Otherwise I might not have noticed fords clever cost saving plan. This is just My observation. I could be wrong? But I'm pretty damn sure.

IMHO they look even better on the focus. And also a tad better than the new 5 spoke 16" wheel they have to replace it.
