I finally got the call from BAT regarding the ST200 Struts that were on sale a year agou. They've been backordered since January and I was put on the list to receive a set IF they got em in. Well, they should be here by the weekend. My plan is to limp the car thru the winter on whats on the car and do a full overhaul in the spring (maybe for SZ2003). This will include:
4 ST200 Struts. 1 Eibach Springs? 2 New front lower control arms, with urethane and new ball joints. 2 New front wheel bearings. 2 New rear hubs. Front subframe urethane bushings Urethane engine mount inserts with new mounts New front and rear urethane sway bar bushings Urethane triling arm bushings Maybe new endlinks Definitely a 4 wheel alignment. Brake system flush and installation of S.S. Brake lines.
Gotta wait for the Tax money to roll back to do all of the mods.

why not try the roush springs? They are 100 bucks cheaper. Aftermarket springs aren't recommend for those struts anyhow so why blow 225 on eibachs when you can get the roush for 120 shipped to your door? I will let you know how my car rides on this setup as I am going to have it done within the next 2 weeks

There is a difference between the Roush Springs and the Eibach springs. I know because I have Eibachs (with Bat Stuts BTW), and RoushSC had a Stage II Roush Cougar which has the Roush Springs. He also did replace the stock struts with BAT struts. I've driven both cars and I have found that the Eibachs ride a bit nicer. Its because the Roush springs have a constant k (spring rate), while the k for the Eibachs is variable. What does that mean? It means that the Eibach are softer while under light load and stiffer with more load, while the Roush springs are stiff all the time. That's why Eibachs are more expensive. My $10 worth

I hear you on that, but I think I was implying more about the fact that he is buying the ST200 struts from BAT, not the so called "BAT Struts" the ST200's are basically OEM replacement struts so it's probably not a good idea to put eibachs on them, nor is it probably the best ideat to put the roush springs either but if your gonna do it wrong, you may as well do it cheap. If he is gonna do it right, he should save up and shell out the money
