The +2s are the same as the +4s with 2 fewer side electrodes. I had them in my wifes 626 and they didn't last 20K miles. IMO it's not worth messing around with. Get the Autolite double plats and forgetaboutit...

Right. I kinda figured that one out, but how would it compare to regular double plats on the market today since it has 2 seperate electrodes?

Still bad, the 2 electrode are the ground, there are three total. Since only the center electrode is plat., the 2 ground electrodes still wear out too fast.

I can give you first hand info on this one, I bought the plus 2's because they were about the only plats that I could get at the 4 stores I went to. I had heard all the talk about the boschs being no good because they wear out too fast. I figured "no big deal, even if I had to change them every 20k its only a $25 expenditure" Well I put them in my car along with the 9mm ford racing wires and I immediately noticed a 2 MPG DECREASE in economy. I went from getting about 300 miles before my gas light came on to 270. Also, I was getting that 300 on the original motorcraft plugs that had 75k miles on them!!!! I took them out and replaced them with autolite single plats and on the 2 full tanks of gas I have used thus far I have gotten 330 miles on both of them, although that was a lot of highway driving but they still far exceeded the boschs. To make a long story short, don't get them, I had a hard time finding anywhere that stocked the standard double platinmum plug so I finally just went with the single plat autolite. The main difference I hear about the single vs. double is plug life more so than performance. For the 25 bucks it costs for plugs, I really dont have a problem replacing every 50k vs 100k
