Restrictor plate with a small hole just big enough to keep CEL off. No top end benefit at all to this as EGR is off at WOT anyway. Supposedly helps throttle response?

Yep; that about sums it up.

Placebo effect IMO.


2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

I don't think it wasted my time. I noticed a much improved part throttle response. One thing you can't argue about is it keeps your intake and TB MUCH cleaner...

uh, this is pretty easy... cut a thing piece of steel with a small hole (smaller than existing EGR hole) and holes for the two bolts and place it between EGR valve and UIM.
