Usually it's because they either don't know what their own mods are or won't share information that people fly the B.S. flag. Either way, we're better off without either type of person on this or any B.B.

Well said. If he wont share any of his mods, that just shows the type of person he is, and I'd rather he didint' come on these boards. You cant go around saying your running mid 12's and refuse to even hint to what you have done to get it to run the times. Especially on internet forums where only one or two peolple can back it up. At least show a video of one of his runs.

well said plus it aint my car so i am not going around telling people what is done to other peoples car just letting everyone know it is possible to get a contour with slicks into the 12's, and when you do you see it" i told you so" or just come up to rockland county cause that is where he hangs out and street races.

a little NOS....More like 250 shot or so  .....I do not think it could run a 12.5 even with slicks....a lot of people are going to do 3.0 turbos and we will see how fast they are......my guess mid to high 13's.....trapping @ 104ish...

Well no [censored], it's possible to get a Yugo into the 12's with the right mods. What we want to know are his mods. Show us a video of a 12.5 second run, doesn't matter... We want to know his mods. "I told you so" has nothing to do with it...

If I had a 12 second Contour, I am certianly going to be talking about it. The guy obviously spent a ton of cash, no other way to get there with "free mods" IF the car exsists.

I agree with brad. I don't need proof that his car can run 12s. Tell me what he's done and the mods should speak for themselves.

maybe he took one of those focus's with a mustang cobra motor took the body of and put a contour body on it cause theres no way a front wheel drive 3k pound car is gonna run mid 12's without 4-5 hundred hp. Hell a 2k pound civic needs 3 hundred hp to run that fast, add another thousand pounds and you do the math  "but you didnt hear that from me cause i aint one to gossip"
