I have a hesitation at 4800 RPMs +, only in 2nd gear. Here is the kicker...it only does it after a left hand turn. If you make a left in 2nd gear and drop the hammer after the turn as soon as it hits 4800 RPMs the car starts to hesitate. It keeps pulling but stumbles every 2-300 RPM. Any ideas?? confused

Hey i kinda have the same problem but in 1st and 2nd gear. I have been trying to figure out what the hell the car is doing but cant figure it out. Anyone let me know what my car is doing.

fuel pump? does tank level make a difference? maybe you have bad gas in the bottom of the tank. also try dry gas in case you have water in the tank and fuel injector cleaner. hopefully that'll do the trick.

it does it the most when the fuel is low ... about 1/4 tank of gas. I put dry gas in it tonight to see if that helps. If not im going to take it to the shop.

sounds like its fuel pump related. when the tank gets low the pump does not cool as well. just for the heck of it, try the dry gas and the fuel injector cleaner and see if that fixes it. otherwise you'll have to get your system pressure checked to see if the pump is goin bad.

I did have 1/4 tank left so I filled up last night and it did the trick. I will try the dry gas/fuel treatment. Thanks for the responses.

I had a VERY similar problem. It turned out to be the fuel pump (low fuel rail pressure.) Just like your symptoms, it was above 4500 RPM and with less than 1/2 tank of fuel. Once I filled up, it seemed to act properly again. Had Ford replace it and all is good again.
