A whole cat-back won't get you 10hp....
Stay away from no-names.....
An SVT cat-back can be had for $100....

From the basic shape of that muffler, it's not going to fit very well on an SVT.
1) The dual pipes will be too wide for the bumper cutouts 2) The muffler will have to be hung much lower than normal SVT mufflers
As mentioned, you wont gain 10HP from a pair of those mufflers. The SVT mufflers aren't all that bad. (The resonator is a restriction...)

I second the motion, 10 hp from a muffler only. Not likly. 5 HP is a strech for a muffler only.

That muffler looks like a Magnaflow, which would retail at 200(I think)! I saw a kid that had that muffler on his 95 SE and it looked and sounded pretty good!

Robb, If you want to really post a hp gain for small $$$, get the KKM intake. I've got a 98.5 SE V6, and I put the KKM on at around 75k--haven't been sorry for it even once. You'll get a lot more than 5-10, even with the stock exhaust/muffler. I rounded it out by picking up a used SVT cat-back exhaust and I love love love it all. All told spent about $250 on parts, and it transformed my car. I agree--I'm in the "hate the fart cannons" camp (that looks like one to me) and I cringe when I see one on a Contour--KKM + SVT exhaust makes for a nice low growling rumble, awesome performance increase, and always puts a smile on my face that widens as the RPM's climb. Check out my car here. Steve

I have a k&n filter already I really didnt want to go the road of replacing the Air Intake. Some friends of mine have done that and had issues with heat. They tried to correct it with a kit which was a resistor to fool into thinking it was breathing cold air.

Anyone ever use a YODUDE exhaust kit they are like 310.0 plus shipping and you can choose a muffler (Magnaflo, Dynamax ect..)
