I was just wondering, On my 95 mystique zetec, their is what looks like a catalytic converter on the front side of the motor just below the manifold and a huge muffler shaped cat,resonator halfway down the length of the car then the muffler in the back. Out of the two exhaust parts in the front-mid part of the car which one is the resonator and the cat?

the cat is the cat looking thing in front of the engine and the muffler looking thing is the resonator muffler (that's why it looks like a muffler) and then the last thing is the muffler.. go take the middle thing out.
