My 96 SE has had several intermittant electrical problems..
1) Taillight would not work ...dealer put in new turn indicator and wiper control assys (done under extended warranty...now expired) which seemed to stop it.
2) Door lock sometimes will not work...
3) Turn indicator started to quit a few months ago..would make a quick "fzzzt" noize from relay when activating the switch, indicator would not work. Then next time driving the car it would work.....this would happen maybe once every couple of weeks, sometimes would take a couple of days before indicator would work. The Hazard lights are operable when turn indicators are not.
Recently changed the switch and relay ($160!!) to no avail.
I am wondering if this may relate to Service Progam 99M03 which is under the hood wiring harness failures for cars in high temp and high humidity conditions (I live in Houston, a perfect match)
Anyone else come across this??
