I'm having some Mintex C-1144 pads installed front and rear, and there is some adhesive backed shim material included with the rear pads.

How is this stuff supposed to be cut to fit the back of the pad, or does it not apply for American Contours?

TIA,

Ned M

Its anti-squeal material. Just pull off sticky and apply to pad backing. Since the rear pads kinda float (I know...a spring on top) it'll keep them from unduly making noise in slow driving situations.

Or it could be iron on stickers!
