my throttle body was repladed under warranty at about 29 thousand miles, now at 46 th miles it feels like it's going again, I'm not sure it's covered under my extended warranty, but aren't replaced parts covered for a different period of time ? Thanks M C

How does a throttle body feel when it goes? That sounds like a load of crap the dealer gave you. Which part goes bad? There is only one moving part that I can think of and as far as I know they don't go bad. There is a throttle position sensor on it that could go bad but that doesn't warrant a whole new tb. Anyone else shed some light one this?
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

the pedal starts to stick on launch and when it releases it is not a smooth take off. it starts out sticking a little, then it gets to the point that you have to push so hard that when it does release you start out faster than you wanted to. has anyone else had this problem ?

Ford uses a 12 month 12000 mile warranty on replaced parts. Unless you are still under factory warranty. If you are out of warranty, the 12/12000 applies from the date the part is installed. If its close then you can talk your way into a warranty repair.
By the way, Kaiser is right. The the only thing that can go wrong with the TB is the shaft bushing or bearings. Maybe its something else. if you have a lot of "play" in the throttle blade then it may be bad, otherwise probably not.

Perhaps the stop screw is adjusted wrong, then the blade would be closing too far and may stick. Other than that I would check the operation by hand with the intake off and visually see what is happening.

I ran into the same situation you are describing at about 15K miles. The dealership simply cleaned the entire throttle body and all has been well since. Actual service invoice text: R&R THROTTLE BODY CLEANED AND ADJUST, CODE 41 You might want to take it to another dealership and just request they clean the throttle body. Good luck.

A sticking throttle is a common sign of a dirty throttle body. Try cleaning it before doing anything else. You will be surprised at the difference it makes in performance, especially light throttle acceleration. In my opinion, this should be a maintenance operation that should be done at least every 30,000 miles (along with cleaning the injectors). I do mine every 10,000 to 15,000 miles. The last time I did it the difference in performance was HUGE.
According to the factory, the throttle body bore is coated with teflon and therefore never needs cleaning. Clean it anyway, just be careful of the teflon. The teflon makes it easier to clean and seems to cut down on the sludge that forms. Since they started using teflon, dirty throttle bodies are not as big of a problem as they once were.
Once Ford started using the teflon coating on throttle bodies, they said they would no longer pay warranty claims for cleaning. That left the shop with the option of replacing a perfectly good one (and getting told that they were getting high on warranty) or cleaning it and risking not getting paid. There is absolutely no advantage in replacing a dirty but otherwise perfectly good throttle body.
Rarely, there is more wrong with a sticking throttle body. If it still sticks after cleaning, it may need to be replaced. If it is out of warranty, it is worthwhile to try adjusting the hard stop idle very slightly. If done too much, it will throw off the throttle position sensor setting as well as perhaps cause problems with too high of an idle.
For information on cleaning the throttle body, try a search. This has been explained several times in the past by myself and others.

I just had the TB on my '00 SVT replaced (19.5K miles) because of the throttle pedal showing the first stages of hanging up on the initial take off.
