GEEEZ , that sux he did that ,
well i will try to get you the best details ......
here we go !!

upper part of your dash there is 2 screw's take them out with a #2 Phillups screwdriver., and in the middle of the card where it sayd Contour and there is a little red light that blinks, take a flat tip screwdriver and pop that out , youll see another screw in there...now on the left side of the dash there is 2 push buttons, pop them out and youll see another screw in there ....take this out as well .
now you should be able to take off the outside part of your dash panel ....

now look inside there , youll see screws holding the main dash in there, just take these out also but dont start losing screws now .......in the back youll have 2 seperate wiring harness, unclip both of there, dont worry you cant mix them up when you put them back on .....now you should be ready for the dash to come out !!

once you have it out flip it on its side, you'll see a couple little plastic clips holding the clear lens to the housing ...pop it off carefully ....

now that your in the inside of the dash , take you tach and speed gauges "indaglo" and try it slide it over the needles BE CAREFUL !!! and do the same to the tach as well , and the other pieces put them over your exsisting ones .....follow the reversed procedure on putting it back together .......

i know i may have skipped a few tiny spots here ...but just ask if you dont understand

Ok ill tell you its kinda easy

Take out the screws about the steering coloum theres 2 then take out either the contour logo or the clock and remove those two. Use a small flat head screw driver to get out the clock. Remove clock and try to not step on it later

Remove your defrost switch also or you can wait until you take out the dash to do it. Then pull on the plastic dash part and the clips will let go. then rotate until it comes out.

theres like 6 or soo screws holding in the speedo/tach/temp/gas assmbly. Remove those and then remove the 2 harnesses from the rear of the speedo thingy.

theres a push clip or something on the whole assmebly thing and push one side and pull on the clear plastic part and it will come off then remove the black little trim peice.

now heres the rough part remove your needles but try not to mess with them too much and remember where they where.
do the tach and temp
then the speedo and gas

to remove the needles i used 2 small screw divers and pryed up. on the gas and temp the gold counter balance thing might come out. if it does put it back in and you should be good.

then when the needles are out place the indiglos over them try to center and put the black trim back on cuase that what holds the gauges in place.
put on needles
put clear thing on
reconnect 2 harnesses in the back
put screws in
then find how your gonna power then i found the parking light wirre can't remember what one it was
then hide the transformer part mount the knob part
and connect
test
then i went for a drive redlined my car and found the tach was 200 off not that big of a deal
speedo 5 mph high
ohh well also
but my gas is on e when it reads a 1/4 tank so i suggest you do it with a full tank and then put the needdle on full when you put it back on
and temp i have no clue how far its off
then put the dash peice on put in defrost
put screw behind clock
and above steering coloum and then put clock in and enjoy

wow thats long
and probably no help if you want to ask any more ?'s ill try to help
its easier to do then it looks trust me
any?'s just ask away
