OP steener_dup1 CEG\'er S Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 58 Ottawa, Canada	Every so often, when I take a longish right-hander in a somewhat aggressive manner, my oil light flickers on-and-off, and then stays on until I shut the car down and re-start. I assume the problem is a brief period of oil starvation during the turn, followed by a return to normal oil pressure once I've straightened out. I'm guessing the warning light stays on afterward because it does not re-set until you shut down. This has been reported by a number of SVT owners. Question is this....has anyone had any luck getting their Ford dealer to address this in any way? Thanks. Craig 99SVT black/tan 2725 of 2760

Terry Haines_dup1 CEG\'er T Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 299 Rockford Mi USA	The oil pressure light is NOT a 'reset' type..when its on you have no oil pressure...either a bad switch...or oil problems...dont drive it until you get it checked out (example : new crank $600 +, rods,$100 eack,full gasket set $300+ etc etc...)
