I bought a Harman Kardon Reciever from Returnbuy. Everything worked out, plus I got the warranty so I didnt have to worry. I love my harman.

But bazooka amps arent pushing a true 500 watts x 2 @2ohm are they? I have never seen one, but I would just imagine it is another jensen and crap like that. Us acoustics, pyramid, lanzar, profile....this kind of class.

I thnk Bazooka amps are concidrably better than the ones you mentened. I'm not saying they are a high end amp, but they are certainly addiquate to drive subs.

Pyrymid and Profile are low end amps. that are often overrated on their power specs. US Acoustics and Lanzar make good products that put out their rated power. I don't know about Bazooka, though. Someone try one and measure what it can do. I've already got 4 amps in the mail.

BTW< that place also has a Bazooka EL-2100 for $50.

Just saw this!

Crutchfield sells these at a premium compared to Return Buy. $249.99 for the mono-block and $229.99 for the 2x115W RMS EL 2100.

Crutchfield never sells crap and Bazooka's price is far above the likes of Profile and Lightning, both far better than Pyriamid!

I've heard some of Bazooka's EL series amps before, and they sounded pretty good. I'd say they probably come close to those specs.

If you give me instructions on how, and I have the right tools...I just ordered one.

Check that subs.

IF you bought the amp for $59.99 and bought a pair of the 12" EL subs for $59.98 (29.99 ea.) you would a pretty sweet setup for only $120.

You need a driver capable of handling the power, a volt meter, and a test CD. You want to play a sine wave or pink noise or white noise and measure the voltage across the terminals on the driver.

Power = Voltage squared divided by the resistance of the sub

Say you measure 20V DC. 20^2/4 = 100watts
