ok, my car is seriously a gas gusler, i do 90 miles on 7 galilons, where i should be doing at least 140 miles.
its really getting out of hand, i mean, i only rev it up to 4.5k at most and higher, when i need to pass quickly but thats about it.
are there any mods i can do for me to get better mpg.
i check my car on witht he obd2 reader, and got no codes.

I would start with a full tune up followed by a fuel injector cleaning service. If it's still really bad you might have a lazy O2 sensor or something of the sort.

If everything is maintained properly, freeing up the intake and exhaust should improve your gas mileage.
When I first started driving my car (I bought it used) my mileage went from about 18 mpg to 21 mpg.
Since then, my mileage has improved. I now get from20 mpg to almost 25 mpg.
My most significant engine mod has been an open element air filter (I'm using an SVT air filter base). Some other things that I did that may be playing a part in the gas mileage improvement are: 1) synthetic engine oil (Mobil 1); 2) synthetic ATF in the transmission; 3)replaced the original (awful!) Firestone tires with a set of Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires in the same size; 4) I have some cool air running into the area around the air filter.
If I can get the cash together and justify the expense to my wife, a more open exhaust will surely improve my gas mileage (and horsepower) just a little bit more.

If your mileage is that low something is definitely wrong.
Full Tune up - plugs, wires, all filters, fluids, etc
Tire pressure
Any CEL's? You'd think a bad O2 would trip something being it's OBD-II.
Chip, intake, & exhaust mods all help MPG.

Well, i dont have a cel, or anything i check the obd2 with a reader. nothing came up.
i have some mods done, i have a k&n filter with some like like ram air, but the tire as it spins forces are into it. and i got a muffler less exhaste, with the resonator still there.
i did change my plugs not to long ago when i replaced the bad imrc. but ill get some fuel inject cleaner to see if that helps a little.

Are the brakes in good shape? The ebrake may be sticking??? Cleaning the intake and EGR passages might help as part of the tune up.

Don't bother with the bottled stuff. Take it to a shop that has a motorvac or something. It's called a fuel injector service. I know the dealer does it. It can make one heck of a difference!

I've been as low as 16mpg when the car was brand new to 28.5mpg just a few days ago(45,000 miles). I accomplished this by setting my cruise at 60 for a 250 mile trip. This car acts like a woman. It's picky, irritable and I don't understand it. But it's a hell of a lot of fun!
