Hey guys. Right now I,m station in Germany, but in a few months I'll be in New Mexico for a few years close to a town call Almarrogordo or something like that if you from New Mexico you know where I'm going. Question How hard are car inspections there? I,m thinking about doing gutted pre-cats but I want to be sure will pass there before I do it.

Welcome! I spent my first 2 years in grade school in Alamorgordo. My grandfather used to work at the base there. As far as I know, inspections are not too tough here in New Mexico. As long as the cats are still there and the car runs clean you should have a good chance.

Yup, that would be the base. I honestly dont know if there is a track down there. Its been a few years since I visited Alamo. The closest 1/4 mile track that I KNOW exists is in Roswell. Its only a couple of hours away.

Welcome! Be sure to let us know when you arrive in NM. Are you going to be bringing your car? I hope so. BTW, car inspections in southern New Mexico???...you'll probably be astonished at what you can get away with!

Cool! and I will bring my car. I will also miss those autobanh doing 130 mph next to M5, M3, Mercedez, Porches ect and do not forget about the grand tourismo style roads and my 3 hour drive on the french riviera coast where my car prove himself as a champion the only USA representative. Those were good times. Here is a new world comming and my SVT will also have fun in NM.
