I had a shop blow my head gasket a little while ago, and my water pump gasket just went... and while I was under "Jennifer" (as she has be named) I saw that there was a couple drops of transmission fluid. Now I am changing my tranny fluid anyways, just in case it got cooked when it overheated, but I am wondering if I should drop the tranny and replace the gaskets, and do a minor overhaul before it gets worse. Has anyone had to do this? I wonder how long it is going to put my car down for? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try posting in the transmission forum. If I could help you I would!
