What up guys.....got a quesiton.

I'm running 18" Quantum Tech's with 225/40's on stock springs and struts.

I'm want to get H&R's, but I'm worried that with a stiff, active ride that I have seen with them, that I will be rubbing all over the back end, because the setups I've seen seem a lot bouncier?......any thoughts?

Thanks,

Conor

you'll need to get revised struts because the lowering springs will make you bounce since they are designed to go with higher rate struts(unlike our stockers), so H&R's with new struts would be smart, but you might still rub if your offset isn't high enough (closer to 47mm). .

Conor,

I got 235/40/17s with the BAT Kit as you know... I dont rub as much as I used to with 3 passengers, still the occasional big bump will do it. But the strut's damping combined with the progressive springs makes it stiffer so they dont travel as far up and down it seems. Since you already rub a decent amount of time it might not be the best idea to lower your car until you get some thinner tires.. /35s or /30s even. I dont know....Maybe somebody with a similar setup can help you out.
---hey did you get that front bumper?? send me a PM.

Kevin

You will be fine as long as your offset isn't under 45mm...If they are under, its not that hard to role your fenders in a little..

You will rub. If you put 2 people in the back seat you will rub. I suggest you trim the fenders.

how wide are the wheels? 7inches, 7.5, 8? i believe the general consensus for offset is (this is minimum) 7=40, 7.5=42, 8=45
