I know this has been covered before but search hasn't helped.
How do I get rid of the haze that's on my headlight lenses? I used an abrasive dish pad: no help. I used the dish pad with Ajax: no help. I think it's on the outside, but not really sure. Thanks.

Try toothpaste, not the gel, but the paste, and a good towel. Worked on my girlfriends 95 Geo Metro. If not then wet sanding is in order.

Someone one time recommended to me one time a product called "BON-AMI" It's a scouring powder, but it's not very abraisive, I'd probably try that and use a high speed buffer or something. You can gt it at your local supermarket.

1500+ grit sandpaper, sand it down a bit, until its gone. Use some compound and then wax and you should be good to roll.

Mine look hazy also. I've sanded down with 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper, but it looks like the plastic is actually cracking (crazing, crows feet, etc) on the inside or somewhere inbetween.

Have you ever had a burnt out bulb that when you took it out there was no bulb?

I just dealt with mine while doing that "hightower" mod. I wet sanded the ISH outta them w/ 1000 grit until some kind of clear coat came off of it. Then moved to 1500, then 2000 (when sanding that fine ALWAYS jump up only in 500 grit steps). Then I used Meguiars Mirror Glaze 85: Diamond Cut Compound 2.0 many times by hand (6 Mr.Meeaugi moves "Wipe on, wipe off") small half dollar sized swirls. THEN I used Meguiars Mirror Glaze Speed Glaze (light cut) about the same amount as before. My lights look amazing!!!!! That was WORTH it alone. Labor-o-love!

I'd like to see some pics of the finished work! Do you have any?
Thanks for all the suggestions.
