I just recently bought my 00 green SVT with 11K. Every now and then I have to press the brakes to slow down quickly and it seems like the brake pedal pushes my foot up (still slows down). To my understanding my car has ABS and since this is my second car (my T-bird didnt have ABS) I dont know if this is just a normal response. Just wanted to know your input.

Under really heavy braking you might feel the response of the ABS, yes it will definitely want to fight you, but you will probably notice other things as well, a crunch noise from the ABS valving, pulsing fluid.

In the event that your ABS pushes your foot back, stay on it, don't pump the break (I'm from Massachusetts so we get the pleasure of driving in snow for half of the year) the ABS is actually doing what it is supposed to.

You might have an over active sensor, or sensors. I rarely use mine but then again I rarely ever have to stop suddenly. The only time I feel my ABS is in the winter on ice.
If the sensors are the case, then I have no idea. I couldn't imagine that being the case though.
