On hard acceleration and hard shifting I get a loud, hard, and deep thunk in my front end. It feels almost like differential slop, but--for the moment--my diff is above suspicion. So I turn to the mounts. When I felt them, the SEEMED OK, but I was pushing with my hand and the car was on the ground. Any advise is greatly appreciated. smile

to test mine i put the front wheels on blocks and had my dad sit in the car and slowly let out the clutch (with his foot on the brake and the e-brake up). this puts force on the mounts so you can see if they squash or not. dont get under the car but kind of peer on an angle on the side while it's up. mine were smashing down all the way, thats how i knew they were bad. other than that get under the car with a little mirror and a flashlight and check out the mounts from all angles. look for cracks and squishing.
