Hey, well I've got a '96 GL with about 30k on it. Today, when I was with my friend, I put it in neutral, and revved the engine a little. Without even flooring it, the engine revvs up (vrooooooom) and then just kind of stutters (not stalling) (vrooooom-vroom-vroom- vroom- vroom etc.), after I hold it down for a sec or 2. Is this a problem? (forgive me, I'm 16 and stupid.) Any help would be great- I love my car, please tell my I'm paranoid.

Different intakes. My intake cost $152.00 shipped to my door, and the exaust is a used SVT exaust I found in the classifieds here for $150.00 You can get the intake for your Zetec motor @ http://www.ctamotorsports.com/

First go with the intake, it makes the most difference. I installed it myself, CTA has a set of easy to follow instructions on thier page.
Here they are.
