I have been looking at plugs and wires for my '98 SVT and was wondering what other people are running? Are there any that I should stay away from? And what do other people recommend?

Motorsport wires and autolite plugs here. All wires/plugs are fairly comparable. I don't like the fit of the Nology wires...and I don't like multi tip plugs like +4's or splitfire's....NGK's are very good plugs too IMO!

I thought that I heard somewhere that one couldn't run multi-spark plugs(such as splitfires) in the duratecs. It didn't really make sense to me, but has anyone else heard this?

It's been said to stay away from the bosch +4's and other multiple tip because of the way the electrical system was designed. Can anybody elaborate?

My (newbie) question is this - is there any HP gain to be found in aftermarket electronics? What's the benefit?
