I live in the Detroit,Mi. area(close to Dearborn), and I was wondering where can I take my 1998 Contour SE in to get an aftermarket exhaust system installed.I Don't know if I should buy a new system first and try and find a shop to do the install or just find a shop to do everything. I don't know where to begin, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Search out the exhaust posts to see what other have done and figure out how much you have to spend. You can go from $30 to $1000 depending on what all you want to achieve. A basic pseudo-dual exhaust will cost around $250 minimum. The choices are many and you can sometimes cut costs by mail ordering some parts and have them installed and piped at a shop that does custom (performance) work.
