got the rear done at the local ford dealership.

And she runs like a champ. I'm likin' the non-plugged-and-gutted-manifolds.

P.S. Thanx again for letting me use your garage for the day.

You had them taken off and gutted, or bought a set of pre-modded ones and just swapped them?

I bought a pair from PerformanceFords pre-gutted and ported.

So all I needed to do was make the swap.

Guess since they were previously plugged you can't tell how much of an improvement it would have made?

Ryan, did you get a check engine light after installing the gutted cats? Just wondering, cause I may or may not do this mod too.

Make or buy some MIL-eliminators to resolve this if it occurs. Ryan, how much were those gutted manifolds? I might be interested in a set after Christmas.

Well, so far it's been almost 200 km w/out a CEL. I'll update you guys if/when i get one.

also, I paid 150 + a 150 deposit. I'll be getting my deposit back when I return my old plugged manifolds.

so total cost (gutted/ported manifolds + install = approx. $400).
A lot cheaper than what ford was gonna charge ($350 each manifold + labour)

215Km, and I now have a CEL.

I also, have a faulty O2 sensor that might be sending a fault code.

Once i get a new/fixed sensor there I'll try again.
