As some of you already know i have just had my Cougar fitted with the 3.0L block, here is a link to some videos that were shot on the day after i got the car back. They were taken at a car show i was attending. This is the only Cougar 3.0L in the UK.

The car goes back to the shop who did the work this Saturday to be put on the dyno and to be re-mapped. As the engine was new i had to run it in and do at least 1000 miles before the shop would stick it on a rolling road. At the moment it is running on the factory ECU without any problems. It is also fitted with the standard cams as no one over here is willing to re-profile them in case they do a bad job. Next year i plan on turbocharging it and i will then look at maybe fitting the Mondeo ST220 Cams. I will post the dyno results when i have them.

You might want to look into a set of ST200 cams. As they are probably the same as our SVT cams and might be a bit more agressive than the 3L ST220 cams. Being on this side of the pond, I don't really know for sure. I also don't know what vintage 3L you have, so water pump configuration might be a factor.

Either way, that's one sweet ride. Good work!
