Anyone who has gone from the KDW's to the Comp T/A's?

Also, do the Comps have that rim protector?

Having had both these tires on my car I can say the Comp T/A's are nowhere near the performance of the KDW's. The Comp T/A's are a little quieter, but that is about it.

My contour has the comp vr4s, I really like them compared to the kdw b/c the ride eems to be smooth and not as loud as kdw. Performance is okay, but I got these tires at a great buy at $90 a tire.

I strongly agree.

I have gone from the KDW's to the comp TA's because of price alone. The last time I bought the comp's I spent about $80/tire. I had about 23,000 on my KDW"S before I had to trash them because the belts were snapping. Great tires but they don't last long. The comps do not have the rim protector...atleast not when I last purchased them. They are great tires though you do loose a little performance.

The KDW's are the stock SVT tire's, right? I get mine for 150 a pop(installed and balanced) where do u get them for 80??
