OP MICKUPNORTH_dup1 Newbie M Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 7 SOUTH SHIELDS, NORTHERN ENGLAN...	hi all, ive got a 1.8litre 16valve zetec mondeo, ive got a k&n 57i fitted and a piper CAT back exhaust, these 2 mods have increased accelaration considerably, but i want more power! i was just wondering wht you guys over in the u.s. do for more power, apart from using nos of course! thanx! MY FORD MONDEO ENGINE: 1.8 litre Zetec 16 valve mk1 COLOUR: petrol blue pearlescent BODY: 5 door hatchback SPECIFICATION: lx MODIFICATIONS SO FAR * Full genuine R.S. bodykit * Evo spoiler with clear LED brakelight * System 2 suspension lowering kit, dropped 30mm * Piper stealth cat. back stainless steel exhaust with twin 3 inch tailpipes * K & N 57i induction kit * gold mesh in bumper * centre bar of grille removed and gold mesh added * 17inch team dynamics gold monzas * 215/40/17 falken tyres * Lockwood gold dials and heater control panel * door handles and scuff strips painted gold * Sony mini-disc head unit * Sony x-plod 220watt 6x9's in front doors * Sony x-plod 180watt 6x9's in rear doors * De-badged all round LOTS MORE TO COME!!!!!!

Perhaps you should look into that to take full advantage of your mods. Being a little more realistic then just saying slap a turbo on it (since they make it sound as easy as changing plugs), I would look more into headwork, perhaps bigger valves and camshafts. Personally I would want those if I was planning on a turbo anyway. BTW, how do you like the Lockwood dials that you have? How is their build quality?
