I was doing a burnout for all my friends and then one of them picked up a rubber donut shaped thing that fell of the car? does anyone know what it could be? I am kinda worried that it doesn't affect the car at all. Please any help. Thanks so much for and help. Tim

If it a about 2 in dia. and 1/2 thick, probably a muffler/pipe hanger. Bigger? may be motor mount or something.
Can you post a better description, or even a picture?

Sounds like a motor mount to me. Have someone look at your engine while you put your e-brake on and let out on the clutch slowily to see if the engine moves back and fourth easily.

Well, i think i checked the motor mounts there are 3 right? The object that fell off has a diameter of 2 1\4 inch and 3\4 inch thick, has a hole in the middle that is 3\4 inch wide. It looks new has not marks on it and is kinda soft i checked the pipe hangers and they are much softer rubber and are oval this is round? Thanks for any help. Tim

Actually four; left(rad), right, front(ps pump), back. There are also rubber donuts at the sub-frame mounting bolts under car at driver/pass footwells.

I will throw a hundred bucks on this table that it it the trans mount. The one is located under the air box, It is easy to find, I didn't find it on my car untill I did my battery relocate. There will be a 3 in flat black circle, under that is rubber absorbtion material. You snaped the bolt that is under the mount. Easy to fix. Ford does not just sell the bolt, they want for you to buy the whole assembley. Go to a hardware store and get a grade 8 bolt. I will bet lots of money this is what it is. that round disc goes between the bolt and a black plate. pm me if you didn't under stand this message. Please realize that im at work on a saturday hung over, I usually don't make sense
