Resistor only affects lower speeds on the fan, IE: you can only run full speed. Did you check fuses? There is one under the hood as well as under the dash. I burned up a 40 amp fuse under the hood that killed the fan and A/C (Don't ask how .
There is a 15 amp under the dash fuse for the control panel.

Check all fuses before going too crazy.

would the se be the same as the svt??? I checked all the fuses and they all seem fine I know there is a relay for the ac under the hood. Could that be it?? Or could it just be the blower motor? Winter is just around the corner and I have neither. Just imagine the heat in west tx, and boy the winters get cold with snow beleive it or not. Guess I'll start with the relay first.

I am sure the SVT has the same fuses underhood. There is a big 40amp job (about 3/8 inch square, green IIRC) for the A/C. F42 underhood. Under the dash, there are 2 fuses: F37 (30A) for the blower and F23 (15A) which is labeled for backup lamps but shows on the schematic on the tech CD as working the A/C controls too. Makes sense as 15A would be too high for just a pair of lamps. Check all three. Check owners manual for location. Fuse #s are listed without description on the fuse box covers.
