standard Bosch Plats not good for duratec?

That's what i've read in some post... (right after i've changed the original plugs('98!!!) or most of them (two are stuck) with Bosh Plats...
Need your help guys!

By the way... anybody recommends a good repair shop or a good mechanic in Toronto?
I would prefer smbd with some knowleadge about the Contour's duratec...

I used to take my old '87 Formula to STM in Toronto (Scarbeeria). They were recommended by a co-worker, and were always good to me (fixed right the first time). You can also "negotiate".... wink

For what it's worth, standard Bosch Plats are
not good for ANY car!

98.5 SE Sport badgeless, MTX, KKM, SVT exhaust with resonator intact.
1985 Z51 Vette with many mods. Only used when the Tour appears to be outclassed.

Hey there, your sig doesn't say where you're from. If you live in TO you should join us at one of our meets in Concord.

AMC Interchange Theaters south lot.
Hwy 400 and Hwy 7 area. The second Sunday of every month. Look in the GTA Forums and depending on the weather, we hold them up to once every week.

As for Bosch Plat's most of us here use Bosch Platinum +4 in our Duratecs. No problems to speak of, but I must say we use the slightest amount of anti-seize on the threads before install. Helps prevent them from sticking.
Post in our Forums and you will get lots of good places to go for your needed work.
