LMFAO, thats the funniest thing ive read here in a while.

but yea, a metal impeller would be cool, if u get to keep the car, u really love. (yea right) but yes if your going to lemon it, remember you lost the jack plugs on the highway in rain.

Joe, I am merely wondering why his motor keeps eating WPs. It would seem kinda odd that he would go through 5 WPs.

As I said, I do not know the details, and that is why I said that I am guessing that this may be the problem. If the impellers keep breaking apart, than I am obviously wrong. If it is the seal going bad on them, then how the [censored] is a metal impeller going to help? Please enlighten me on this Mr. Contour...

If the pumps fail due to the seal odds are its a blowing head gasket and/or faulty pressure cap....

Joe, if there is something [censored] up with the engine, i.e. a defective pulley or whatever, no matter what you do, or how you mount the damn pump, it is still gonna fail. Metal or plastic...

There must be something causing it to keep failing like that, and that is what he has to find out. BTW, I like the sound of Mr. Contour...

You're right Joe, it does. Now what about the other pulley that runs it?

Well folks after doing some intense kung fu fighting with ford and willowbrook I have found out some new things that appearently is casuing the demise of the beloved water pump. Sessler ford went out and did some research with the folks at Ford motor and discovered that there is an issue with the "T" connectors that join the WP to the car, These connectors are made of plastic with a fiberglass coating on the inside, "IF" the car has not had its coolant changed for a prolonged period of time "IT" is possible that the coolant begins to break down causing a residual effect to the interior of the "T" connector, This breakdown casues the lining to break down itself into a sandpaper like substance which in turn causes a breakdown of the seals on the waterpumps..... Yes folks it self destructs. they may replace the pump but not the connector so a good pump is rendedered crap after a few weeks, months etc..... The good people at sessler replaced the pump for me at no charge and the good people at willowbrook replaced the "T" connectors and flushed my system out for free AND they game me a rental car for free. but that is what was wrong with my car. still I have doubts as to the longgevity of this pumps life so saddly, I must give her up. But I must say this does in no way get for off the hook They will pay yes they will pay, Muwahhhahhahaha!
