Well its official Its a lemon, this morning my water pump went kablooey, this would be number 5 and the last in less than a month. I have contacted an attourney and she believes i have a case. Im am hoping I do cause im going to stick it to ford. I spoke to steve at packey webb in wheaton and he said " its used, did you expect not to put any money into the car" , corp also said that there is nothing they can do since its out of warranty, I understand if its one, two maybe even three, but four and five , common, they know about it and refuse to fix it, oh well, I will see what legal recourse I have- The saga continues.. I am so disapointed

I wish you the best of luck! I have heard a few people trying this, but no success stories yet.

I wonder why your WP keeps going? Must be something wrong with the pulley on the Camshaft... Either case, best of luck man!

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

I wonder if this would solve the problem. It seems that his pumps seem to fail for other reasons. I am guessing the the majority failed due to premature wear on the shaft/bearing seal. The only thing that I know which can cause this is a bad pulley...

isnt there a warrenty on the parts and labor after a dealer installed it? like 30 days or 6 months or something? maybe they were instaled incorrectly? if they keep on breaking, keep bringing the car back!
