I faunally got around to doing it. I followed the recommended instructions of spraying for 10 seconds and then letting it idle for 10 seconds. I didn't have any stalling problems as I was spraying and playing with the throttle.
But, after I finished the whole bottle, I noticed the CEL was on. I didn't think anything of it at the time because I though it was normal and it should go away. Took the car for a little joy ride and the CEL was still there. The car runs/drives fine and everything is hooked up.

I knew I shouldn't of done this... frown

If you disconnected your sensors and had the engine while hand revviing/spraying you might throw a code cuz the computer isn't getting those readings...reset the PCM its in the FAQ ull be fine.

No, I haven't disconnected any sensors, but I will give it a shot...haven't thought about that.

Thanks.

I got a CE light after doing the throttle body spray on an Escort, the code scanner said it was a cylinder misfire (probably the cleaner made one or more cylinders misfire, which is to be expected)

I used the scanner to turn the light off, I have no idea how long it would have taken otherwise.

Definitely could be a misfire or lean condition that caused the CEL.

Reset PCM and go from there...
