I found a huge 2 bedroom place in Lexington for 1200. It's an old house but not too bad. I can make it look nice. So much storage. Basement and floored attic. Can't wait to build my shop. 5 mins to Hanscom 10 to Alewife. Quiet street. Parking in the back on ashpalt. Faucet out back. Washer and dryer hookups. Some hardwood some carpet. I'm kinda excited. I won't have to deal with traffic or shitty roads, and a 5 min drive to work leaves me extra miles to put on the car having fun. 2 bedrooms leaves the option for a room mate wide open.

I can't wait to get moved in and start meeting some of you guys. I'll be in touch once I get settled in. Thanks for all the help yall given me.

JE

How many bathrooms? Sounds like a nice place. Don't be surprised if the starter home becomes the permanent family location. (Happened to me - my parents never dreamed of living in our home for so long!) It's amazing what a little fixing up can do to a place. Congrats on the find and good luck with it!

P.S. Are you renting or buying? Is that $1200/mo or $120K?

Thanks for lending help, but the beauty of a military move is it's done for you by professionals who have to pay you for what they f up. I just sit back and relax.

It's got 1 bathroom (modernized). I'm renting for 1200 a month. hahaha It could never become my home. My heart is will forever be in the great state of TEXAS and so will I in 3 years.

We should get together for lunch or something if you work at Hanscom. I know a couple of you guys do and posted your work numbers. I have to go back and look at my "finally here" post.

Thanks again

JE
