Code 12 can get complicated if your battery checks out ok. It is low voltage to the airbag system. 2 pages in the shop manual dedicated to finding it. Mainly checking feeds, grounds, connectors for resistance. Make sure your battery is at 12.6 or better. Don't work on the airbag system if unsure of what you are doing, you may set it off and get hurt.
