Around speedo theres 2 screws behind the plate that says Contour, or your clock whicever one you have, theres one screw behind the defroster switch, and two screws right above the speedo, you'll see the holes.
After taking these out the dash trim piece comes right off.

Yep, that's all there is to it. The two screws on top of the speedo are the worst. Get a long extension and one of those worn screw-getter-outer thingys from Sears and they'll come out. I tried for hours by hand and nothing doing! Finally had to drill one out. Just make sure you have one of those really stubby heads and you're good to go.

To get the piece that the headlight switch and mirror control are connected to, just take the panel underneath the steering wheel off and there are two screws there. To get the piece that the HVAC and stereo are in, there are four screws on the bottom. One of them is hard to get to and will take some work, but be patient.

For the best look, paint the three pieces mentioned, door handle inserts, and the cups in the rear doors.

This is, of course, for a G2 Contour.

Word of warning when you go to take out the piece underneathe the steering wheel to get the trim from around the headlight switch, theres no clips so don't pull, I just broke it again. Back to melting pen caps to hold it together. Oh and also finished dash trim, it looks awesome, but I might be biased, after all, it's my car (OK it's the banks)
