Hey all

I just got my laptop back after months without it, and I am excited to be back and I'm just checkin' out the new forums! Well, here's my story:

I was driving to see my girlfriend one afternoon and I noticed that whenever I turn, even slightly, I heard a whine . I thought to myself, "Oh, the power steering fluid must be getting low!" So, I stopped and filled it. It was okay for about 15 minutes, then it started to make the noise again. I had a while to go 'til I got to my girlfriend's house, and when I got there, I realized that the fluid had leaked all over the engine and the whole thing was smoking pretty bad, kinda looked like it was on fire! She screamed, "You and that Dam car! What next?" This was not the best time to have my girl around , and she didn't help matters. At any rate, I took it in the next morining and they said that I needed a new rack. I know that it wasn't a hose, 'cause I checked it. Well, it is about $1500. After they had it for about a day, I got a phone call from the shop manager, and this is what the conversation went like:

MECHANIC: Charles?
ME: yes.
MECHANIC: Well, we are mid-way through putting this new rack on, and I was just wondering if you have a key for your locking lugs?
ME: Yeah, it's in the trunk with the jack .
MECHANIC: I looked there and its not there, did you maybe leave it somewhere.
ME: I haven't been anywhere that I would need it except...Rick Blackford's house!!!!!!! DAM!
(1 to 2 hours of hunting for a tool to remove the lug goes by, and I recieve another call)
MECHANIC: We have a special tool that can take it off without damaging anything, should we do that?
ME: Yeah.

Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to say thanks to Rick for his help and I don't need that lug key back, if you found it somewhere in your shop I had a great time in IA, and getting crazy at the State Fair.

Damn Chuck, sorry to hear that. BTW, guess what I was going to PM you about today. I've got your lug wrench sitting in the top of my tool box! Shoot, guess we missed it when cleaning up all the stuff. Hey I'm thinking about running up Sunday possibly and grabbing those wheels/tires, you going to be around?

I have to work at 3pm on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday. My Grandma's on vacation, so no one will be there. I'll leave them out before I go to work if you're for sure gonna be there, I'll hide them so no one will take them. Let me know!

If I come up, it would be on Sunday and I'd be there before noon anyways so no big deal. Remember, I don't sleep as late as you do! LOL That and I don't plan on drinking myself silly at the fair the night before
