How to change the inner

I need to know how to change the inner tie rod (connecting rod).someone please help.

'Inner tie rod'???,front suspension steering rod end ? rear suspension lower arm front,lower arm rear,'tie bars-rear?Confused,where is it exactly?

front right side inner tie rod end, hell that all they told me at metro 25 and the wanted 350.00 to do it I went to get a alighnment and they said they could not do it cause I had a bad right side inner tie rod end.

There is only one tie rod end,that is the balljoint on the end of the rack side arm that attaches to the steering knuckle,the 'true' inner is a balljoint under the bellows of the steering rack and I doubt that is worn!It takes about 20mins to change both sides then alignment time,350 is BS,go to another shop!

The inner rods do wear out. It took me about an hour to do each side. The plastic boot needs to be removed to work on the RE&RE of the inner rods. I also replaced the outer tie rods of course. Then I got a Toe in check and adjustment, which is all you need to get done at an alignment shop. Allow 3 hours to start and finish.
Oh yes and by the way it takes longer than 20 min. and futhermore $350. sounds about right if you have it done by the dealer.
