call me stupid ( ), but I searched site and no one has store, website, contact..... for me to call and buy the ROUSH springs.

My questions are....

1) Where to buy ROUSH springs for $120 shipped
2) Is Koni w/ROUSH springs good setup?
3) Will tires (stock) on '96 contour se rub because of lowering?

thanks alot for the help!!

I finally have money (just graduated and got a job ) so i need to get my car up to speed .

Must go to the Roush webiste to buy the springs.
http://www.roushperf.com/catalog/index.htm
Check the Cougar catalog.

Koni's will improve your setup immensely over stock struts, if you are happy with the reviews of the Roush spring, then get them. If not check out Eibach, HR or BAT springs (Intrax may still be making springs for car as well). I think the spring decision is a tough one as they all asthetically look different, but generally behave the same.

My stock tires are not rubbing, so neither should yours.

OK, I just called Roush and they said they only carry Cougar springs, but he did hear of people putting them on Contours.

I've noticed many people have SVT's with Roush springs.

1) But does anyone with a '96 contour have Roush on?
2) Where's the cheapest place for Koni's
3) Any have feedback for Eibach or H&R's on a '96 Contour? pics??

I'm very eager to get my busted shocks and springs off so please reply soon.

Thanks!

kjb219....you can use the Roush cougar springs for 98+ contours...Roush made the springs for the Cougar but the spring perches and struts mounts are identical to the Contour.

To make them fit an early year contour you have to get the Konis for the 98+ and I am trying to remember if you as need to change to top strut mount as the 95-97 had pigtail springs in the front...the rears will bolt on no problem.

I have Konis and Roush Cougar springs installed...I would say 95% of your handling improvement will come from the Konis so buy whatever springs to give you the desired drop. On my 1999 SVT Contour, the drop is more that I wanted, approximately 2" which was not what I was looking for. Roush claims a 1" drop on Cougars but the contour has a slightly different stock setup.
Overall, it is a good setup for the price.
