I recently had my warped dash repaired, couple of things were not rite, so I posted a question to this site.

got an answer from Dave #4026, and HE was rite, i took it in to dealer and told them what they did wrong, and they fixed it up. thanks again contour owners & drivers. laugh

Descriped your warped dash problem b/c mine is under warranty and if it is warpped i want it fixed.

the alldata site has the exact wording of the recall...

They list the amount of lift (and where) required before replacement will be done.

This issue is not necessarily a matter of in/out of warranty.

I nationwide recall has been issued. Several tell-tale signs are:

1. Dash cover is lifting at the windshield.
2. Defroster vent will not stay in place.

My dash looked fine, but suffered from condition #2.

Give 'em hell, and don't take no for an answer.
